Pre-registration required as space is limited; each program is offered twice per month to accommodate more participants. For students in grades 1-5, $35 per student per program. Children are dropped off and checked in at the main entrance in Iowa Hall, and picked up in the same spot at 9 p.m.

Explore the Museum of Natural History after dark during a fun evening of pizza and STEM activities! Each month, explore a different area of science, technology, and culture with interactive demonstrations, fun activities, and hands-on materials. Each child receives an official MNH Miner Helmet with head lamp to keep, and the group explores the darkened bird and mammal galleries as part of the evening's activities.  Gilbert Street Papa John's Pizza in Iowa City sponsors Night at the Museum.
