TREKsacks: Teaching, Reading, Exploring Knapsacks

Borrow a TREKsack and embark on an adventure across the Museum of Natural History! The TREKsacks are themed around your favorite museum exhibits. Each sack comes with and assortment of engaging books and hands-on activities that are educational and fun. It's fun for the whole family!

Borrowing a TREKsack

TREKsacks are free to borrow and do not need to be booked. TREKsacks are available on a first-come, first serve basis. They are available every day and can be checked out for up to three hours from our Gift Shop, beginning at 10 a.m. A form of ID such as a valid driving licenses or debit card is required as a deposit at check-out and a user agreement must be signed. TREKsacks must be returned in their original condition after the ‘rental’ period.

TREKsacks loaned out after 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Satursdays and Sundays, may only have 1 -2 hours of usage depending on when the TREKsack was checked out. TREKsacks loaned out after 6 p.m. on Thursdays, may only have 1 -2 hours of usage depending on when the TREKsack was checked out. All TREKsacks must be returned by closing time.
